Welcome to Romanby Remembers

The Romanby War Memorial and Garden are at the centre of Romanby village in North Yorkshire. As part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of WW1, Romanby Parish Council has carried out a full refurbishment of the Village War Memorial Clock Tower, and made improvements to the open space to create  tranquil memorial garden area that can be accessed and enjoyed by ALL members of our community, both young and old, able-bodied and otherwise.

Parish Flagpole - Planning Permission Approved!

Following consultation with residents, we submitted a planning application th HDC for a 6m flagpole in the Memorial Garden, to allow us to fly flags across the year - which has now been approved!! More updates as we get them!
