Welcome to Romanby Remembers


The Romanby War Memorial and Garden are at the centre of Romanby village in North Yorkshire. As part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of WW1, Romanby Parish Council has carried out a full refurbishment of the Village War Memorial Clock Tower, and made improvements to the open space to create  tranquil memorial garden area that can be accessed and enjoyed by ALL members of our community, both young and old, able-bodied and otherwise.

The Joint Burial Committee are aware of the Government’s announcement that public parks and cemeteries should remain open at this time and Northallerton Cemetery will now re-open on Tuesday 21 April 2020.
