Welcome to Romanby Remembers

The Romanby War Memorial and Garden are at the centre of Romanby village in North Yorkshire. As part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of WW1, Romanby Parish Council has carried out a full refurbishment of the Village War Memorial Clock Tower, and made improvements to the open space to create  tranquil memorial garden area that can be accessed and enjoyed by ALL members of our community, both young and old, able-bodied and otherwise.

Toilets at Ainderby Road Leisure Ground

Our toilets at the Ainderby Road Leisure Ground remain closed for the time being - we do not have the staffing capacity to provide a through-the-day cleaning regime that the government recommends. The park itself, along with all our other play parks, are now fully open to the public - so please plan your visit accordingly - and please, where possible, TAKE YOUR LITTER HOME. Thank you
